I have had the pool for approximately 3 years now, we couldn't have a sunken pool due to to many large tree roots, so excavating a pool was a no go! The pool still looks great and the wood has not deteriorated in any way. we have had a lot of very nice comments and interest about the pool especially from people who like us could not build a sunken one. As for erecting the pool all done and dusted in about 30 minutes as all the wood interlocks like a jigsaw puzzle making it very strong and stable,But unlike other jigsaw puzzles all these pieces are the same shape and size " So no problem fixing them together" I can't fault the system's design and my fish aren't complaining either!!!
