How to Pay
We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo & American Express over the secure internet provider Protx. When you enter your card details on the internet, you are dealing with a bank and we do not receive any of your card details. You may give your Credit Card information via phone or you can send a Cheque or Postal Order made payable to Allsorts Shop. Bank Transfers are also accepted. When you go through checkout, please include an email address so we can email you an update on your delivery.
Out of Stock
We keep the website up to date daily and place an 'Out of Stock' notice clearly on relevant items. However, if the item you have ordered is Out of Stock you will be contacted through e-mail and given the option to wait for availability or cancel your order.
Delivery
We will process your order as soon as it arrives. Dispatch is prompt and standard delivery is just £5.95 to Mainland UK. Scottish Highlands & Offshore deliveries are sometimes more. Working days are Monday-Friday; couriers do not deliver at weekends. We can not ship all items to BFPO address's, please ask before you buy. Customers are advised that when buying online, we are reliant on 3rd party delivery services. On the rare occasion that a delivery problem occurs, we will endeavour to resolve it as quickly as possible but unfortunately we can't take responsibility for any late delivery or any consequential losses. This is a risk the customers must take when purchasing online.
Despatch
Someone will need to be available to sign and receive the goods. If you are going to be out, please ask us to leave goods with a neighbour or deliver to a work address. In checkout, you can add a short note to the courier to leave your parcel in a safe place. By doing so, you agree to accept responsibility for the parcel once it's been left where asked. Once items are despatched we can not change the delivery address. We use two different delivery services. They are Royal Mail for small light items, if you are out the postman will leave a card and you can collect from your Local Depot. The second is a Courier Service. If you are out the courier will leave a card. They will attempt delivery again the next day. If this is not convenient you MUST ring them to change the day because they will only attempt to deliver once more and then you may have to collect or pay extra for a re-delivery. You will have approx 5 days after the failed delivery to re arrange collection before the parcel is returned to us. If the goods are refused on delivery or returned to us, you will be refunded minus the original postage fee and the extra fee incurred for the failed delivery.
Cancelled Orders & Refunds.
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you can cancel/return your order by informing us in writing & returning the goods within 7 days of purchase. Email us at shop.allsorts@btinternet.com. Please supply your order number, name and address. If you cancel your order at anytime BEFORE payment or despatched, no fee will be charged. If you cancel/return after we have despatched your order, you are responsible to return it to us at your own expense within 7 days of receipt. It must be in the same condition it was received. New/unused in all original unopened packaging (i.e. suitable for re-sale). While in your possession you must keep all products that you intend to return to us in good, clean condition. If you have ripped open the box or opened sealed interior packaging then the item can't be refunded in full. Please email us for more details. We can't refund used items or goods returned after this time limit. We will not accept returns or cancellations if the products have been altered in any way. Care must be taken to ensure that the returned products are packed in such a way that they will not be damaged in transit. Once back we will refund your order minus the postage we paid to send it and a restocking fee of £5 or 15% (which ever is the greatest). We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion. In the unlikely event that we need to do this, you will receive an email or telephone call very quickly after your purchase to advise why this has happened.
Faulty/Damaged.
Any goods that arrive faulty, damaged or not as described should be reported within 24 hours of receipt via email. If your item shows obvious signs of damage on delivery, please sign the courier sheets as “damaged”. If you don’t check the delivery, please sign it “unchecked”. We will replace any fault products/parts free of charge. Please note, once you have used the item you have accepted it, so if you receive the wrong item or it's not what you wanted, please do not open and/or use it. Digital photo's of damage may be required to help resolve quickly. All sizes are approximate. All information stated is as accurate as possible, occasionally sizes, colours may vary slightly. This should not affect the way the products are used, or your enjoyment of the items.
Guarantee
Items come with a standard guarantee. Any faulty parts/pieces will be replaced within the guarantee period for no charge. Claims for items that arrived damaged will not be accepted by our courier after 24 hours from delivery, so please check your item and report any problems via email within this time scale. If your item has not arrived within 5 working days from despatch please contact us ASAP. Claims for undelivered items will not be accepted after 14 days from despatch.
Tax Charges
VAT is included within the prices. Our VAT number is 900 2784 52. Please tick the VAT receipt box in the checkout to receive a printed VAT receipt with your order; otherwise we will email you one.
Security
We use Sage Pay (Protx) payment system. All transaction information passed between merchant sites and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Privacy
We will not pass on or sell any of our customer’s details or information. We will only contact you at the time of the transaction to inform you of your purchase/delivery information. We will not contact you at any time after the transaction.
